Years later she pursued a Journalism degree at Texas A&M, dabbled in print and television production, and then accepted a job as On-Air talent at a classic rock radio station. After graduation she moved to Dallas to work for a few well-known companies like Eastman Kodak, Zale Corporation and JCPenney. She got married, had two kids, and stayed at home with them until they were both in school.
Like many other moms, the time came when she was ready to re-enter the workplace and build her credentials. But she floundered.
Unsure of where she belonged, she jumped in and out of a variety of roles. Each attempt at happiness and success resulted in failure. She was stuck.
At the persuasion of a few good friends, she decided to get back to her roots and pursue a position doing what she always loved – Marketing and Writing.
But things didn’t go as planned. She never got an offer. Tired and dejected, she took matters into her own hands, and decided to follow her heart and launch her own business.

"A few years ago, I tried over a year to land a job. Any job. My resume was jam-packed with tons of experience – only to find out later that was part of the problem.
I had applied to over 100 positions and received zero offers. I was overlooked for positions I was completely qualified for. It made no sense.
